Oaxaca (Recovery Alive)

For over 55 years, Foundation for His Ministry has been committed to making disciples in Mexico by providing a nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive, while also sharing the hope found in Christ with the communities they serve. Their mission is to transform lives through Christ by rescuing children, reaching the lost, and restoring the broken.

Our Recovery Alive team will be partnering with FFHM at their location in Oaxaca, a stunning region in southern Mexico known for its rich cultural diversity and rugged beauty. Despite its vibrancy, Oaxaca remains one of the poorest states in Mexico, with limited infrastructure and low education rates. The mission in Oaxaca was established in 1999 to support local missionaries and extend the work of reaching Mexico’s people.

This trip will focus specifically on ministry to the hurting and broken through recovery and prison outreach. Our team will have the privilege of sharing the hope of Christ and the freedom of recovery at a variety of recovery centers throughout Oaxaca. In addition, we will bring encouragement and teaching to multiple prisons, where many are longing to hear a message of grace, healing, and new beginnings.

Beyond these opportunities, our team will also engage with the broader ministry of FFHM, supporting their ongoing efforts to serve the people of Oaxaca. Each team member will have the chance to use their gifts and experiences to make a meaningful impact as we proclaim Christ’s power to restore lives.
