Miguel and Karina Rojas lead "For the City," our global partner based in San Jose, Costa Rica. This faith-driven nonprofit is dedicated to bringing the hope of Jesus to the people of Costa Rica by meeting them where they are and addressing their spiritual, physical, and relational needs.

Pastor Miguel’s church, Iglesia de la Ciudad, is located in a low-income area and is committed to serving the community of Alajuelita, San Jose. Since 2006, the church has been a beacon of hope, offering spiritual guidance and practical assistance to those in need. Their ministry is making a significant impact, transforming lives and bearing much fruit in the region.

Iglesia de la Ciudad is one of the few churches in the area that remains open every day, providing consistent outreach and support to the community. They host various programs and provide over 500 meals weekly to children and families in need. Our team will have the privilege of partnering with the local team to serve alongside them in their ongoing efforts. Our team will also be preparing a children's Bible story, songs, and crafts to share in various communities.
