Baja (Adults & Families)

Since its founding in 1966, the mission in Vicente Guerrero, Baja California, has grown steadily in response to both community needs and God’s leading. While the ministry has expanded into many different areas, its heartbeat has always remained the same: caring for and discipling the children who call the mission home.

Today, the Baja home provides a safe refuge for more than seventy children, each coming from difficult backgrounds and circumstances. With the support of devoted house parents, these children are given not only food, shelter, and education, but also the dignity and love they deserve. More importantly, they are rooted in the truth of God’s Word and surrounded with daily examples of His love in action. The mission’s vision is beautifully symbolized by the soaring tree at the center of the property, a reminder that when children are planted in a nurturing home and watered with faith, education, and opportunity, they will thrive—and grow to impact Mexico and the world for Christ.

Our team will be serving at the Baja mission through a variety of opportunities, including supporting the children’s home, assisting with ministry tasks, and encouraging the dedicated staff who pour themselves into the lives of these children every day. This trip is about coming alongside FFHM’s ongoing work, contributing where we can, and witnessing firsthand the transformative power of God’s love at work in Vicente Guerrero.
