SOUTH AFRICA (HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS & ADULTS)

LIFE Community Services is a Christ-centered non-profit organization that is working to confront the dilemmas of orphaned and vulnerable children through Christ-centered intervention programs in George, South Africa. George is in an area that has a high TB death rate, AIDS crisis, a high per capita alcohol abuse problem, and an escalating divorce rate. LIFE's vision is to establish and provide integrated community-based services that strengthen disadvantaged families, create job opportunities, and help individuals to fulfil their God-given potential. Since 2001, LIFE has been working tirelessly to develop outreach programs and to mobilize local and the global church, foundations, businesses and individuals to assist the communities in George. 

Cornerstone has been specifically invited to partner in 2026 on two jobs: to lead a children’s day camp (not VBS) for two weeks and and to make construction repairs at LIFE's Happy Feet Preschool and around the multiple properties that LIFE owns in George. In general, visiting teams are invited to create and lead educational activities, teach in classrooms, train teachers, make foster home visits, prepare and serve meals to large groups, and help maintain the property and school grounds.
