National Day of Prayer Trail

Have you ever wanted to be a part of something bigger than yourself through prayer? Then mark your calendar for May 1 because you won’t want to miss this!

In 1952, Congress passed a joint resolution to establish a National Day of Prayer (NDP)—which President Truman signed into law—and, in 1988, Congress amended and President Reagan signed into law the designation of the first Thursday in May as the NDP.

This year, the NDP falls on May 1, a day during which thousands of Americans from all backgrounds will join together in prayer for our nation. For us as a Cornerstone Family, we’d like to invite you to pray, not only for our nation, but also for our future Grassey Lane home and our role in the body of Christ in the Bluffton, Okatie, and Hilton Head area.

To do so, join us for our National Day of Prayer Trail at our new home in Grassey Lane. Come take a prayer walk around our lake, guided by a variety of prompts across a variety of topics. This trail will be available from sunrise to sunset as you’re available: no need to register, just show up and pray. Feel free to park in our lot outside 13 Grassey Lane or beneath the arena roof.

We look forward to joining together with you and with our nation in prayer on Thursday, May 1 at Grassey Lane and can’t wait for you all to join us!
